The annual event brings an event like no other… an interactive, fun field day of silly games for dogs & their humans to participate in together. It will be an event filled with festivities, interactive dog game stations, dog related vendors, doggie Halloween costume contest and dog photo booths, an interactive dog art project, food trucks and beer and festivities!
The festival's purpose is to:

There is great value in enjoying the present moment - and even more through play with your dogs! Playing with your dog not only helps humans reduce stress but is a beautiful way to return some of dog’s constant unconditional love.
All dogs and their humans are welcome!
Our purpose is to give dogs a unified stronger voice about the importance of pet adoption. Rescue Dog Games brings these Atlanta's pet rescues and organizations together to bring awareness to the need in the Atlanta area “to adopt—not shop”. Atlanta Rescue Dog Games’ festival organizers look to a future in the Atlanta area, where shelters, organizations, rescue groups can work together on many fronts to help the bottom line—which is saving dogs’ lives! The American Humane Association estimates that each year, 3.7 million animals are euthanized. We must stand together and help the dogs in shelters in Atlanta. Rescue Dog Games gives the public an opportunity to meet, sign up, and volunteer with one of the agencies and, of course, to meet and adopt their next best friend with many pet organizations all in the same place.
