My rescue puppy Dash generously gives me love with her enormous unconditional love.\u00a0 She fills my overflowing heart like nothing or nobody could possibly do!<\/p>\n

Like most, I have been on the pandemic quarantine for over a month. I am elderly and live alone. \u201cI am alone\u2026but not lonely\u201d, entirely due to Dash who is my best company and my best friend.\u00a0 I have no desire to be anywhere else!\u00a0 I am so deeply grateful and I love her so deeply.\u00a0 I simply rejoice in her presence and her big heart in her tiny 10 pound furry being.\u00a0 I am blessed!<\/p>\n

One of Dash\u2019s major chore each morning is to keep me moving.\u00a0 She patiently waits while I get ready and gulp down my coffee.\u00a0 Excitedly, she bounds out for our long walk to the square.\u00a0 Although there are many days that I definitely do not feel like walking, \u00a0I just can\u2019t refuse that \u201clook\u201d!\u00a0 If it were not for her enthusiasm to walk, I would not get in the exercise that is so vital for my health.\u00a0 I have her to thank for keeping me motivated and healthy.<\/p>\n

Dash appears to understand me completely.\u00a0 When I talk to her, she looks intently into my eyes and just gets it!\u00a0 I am never lonely, because my best friend is always by my side, pushing up against me for a simple \u201chello\u201d and a snuggle.\u00a0 At bedtime, we continue our partnership, while she watches me closely and patiently awaits as I attend to my night time rituals.\u00a0 Once in bed, Dash demands to be a cuddled against me with her declaration \u201cthis is my spot\u2026. nite-nite\u201d<\/p>\n

If I leave for a moment to go to the mail room down the hall, upon my return, she goes terrifically wild in welcoming me \u2013as if I\u2019ve been around the world!\u00a0 It is worth stepping out into the hall, only to receive upon my return this love and excitement. \u00a0\u00a0It is rare in life to get that kind of welcome or display of love!<\/p>\n

When I rescued her, she had been homeless on the street\u2026truth is, she rescued me and continues to rescue me every precious moment with her.\u00a0 I am deeply grateful and blessed by my little Dash.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She is my heart.<\/p>\n
